Spring is finally here! Everything is so green and the weather is showing signs of warming up. I celebrated the beginning of spring by chopping of my hair. I did it mostly because my hair was so damaged from crazy colour-changes and curling irons, that it was beyond repair. I now rock with a cute pixie cut! People were quite shocked, but I like my new look. Life is much easier with short hair.

I've been working in the book shop for two months now and I really love it. I feel like I'm getting better at my job every day and I also feel really happy. Even after a long day at work, I smile to random people on the street and it makes me happy to see them smile back at me.

I've visited my home town twice this month. First I got my wisdom tooth pulled out. That was pretty scary, but soon I won't be having any more problems with my teeth, because it seems that there's only one cavity left. :)

The second visit was on Mother's Day: hanged out with my mum, baked a delicious chocolate cheesecake and was just happy to be back in my home town once again.

Now I'm waiting for a work-free weekend, so that I could go back to Viljandi and maybe go to some little bar to dance and have fun. In Viljandi, almost all the parties had bands, DJ's and good (dance) music. So that besides drinking, smoking and talking to random people, you could just let go and dance like nobody was watching. I haven't found a place like this in Tallinn yet. All the places I've been to are just bars where people drink & drink and talk & talk. And since I have to talk to hundreds of people almost every day, I don't want to talk any more! I want to dance!

Tonight is the Museum Night 2014. During this night all museums in Estonia are open without a fee to visitors. I still haven't decided what museum I'm going to visit, because there are so many interesting places and probably long waiting lines too. We'll see.

So yeah... The thing I wanted to write about... I got a job! A real job!

I'm working in chain shop that sells books. So somehow my life is like in my favourite show "Black Books", only with less wine and less grumpiness. Everything happened so quickly: one day I sent my CV and few days later I was called to an interview. And suddenly I had a job. That of course meant that I had to quit my part-time tiny job at the dance studio. It was a bit sad, because I made good friends there and it's a lovely place, but I guess I had to move on, get a real job and to become a real girl (heavy Pinocchio reference!). Now I have once again health insurance and a much better income.

Other news... Rob Zombie had to cancel his shows in the Nordic countries and Russia. There were talks about filming schedules, but I've heard it's not the first time he has done that around here. Kind of sad, because I was really waiting for this. Maybe we'll try to go to Riga to see NIN instead. Who knows!

Spring decided to f*ck off, winter's back again. I guess it's my fault - I took out my sunglasses, leather jacket and I ordered some cheap summer dresses from Ebay. I think it was a huge mistake.

I'm going to continue to enjoy my day off. Take care, everyone!

P.S. Aaaaand I finally found a new working template for my photo blog! It looks much cleaner and prettier now. At least I hope so. I haven't updated it much, I'm hoping to get to work during spring: The road novel

Something really wonderful happened today! I got a phone call and I received such great news. I don't want to talk about it yet, because I'm afraid I'll jinx something, but if everything goes according to plan, I can write about it next week. I just had to scribble something in here, because I'm so excited!

Yay!

But until then - enjoy the spring! :)

Oh. My. God!

I have tickets to see Rob Zombie! Rob Zombie! Woohoo!

Last night I found out that he's coming to Estonia in the summer and more info about this & tickets were going to be released the next morning. So of course I didn't sleep last night, because I was sure that I was going to miss everything. Around 6.30 a.m I got additional info about the gig and around 10 a.m I was a proud owner of a ticket!

I still can't believe it. I love Rob Zombie. This is going to be the best summer ever.

I always tend to forget to update this journal-thingy... So yeah, what I've been up to.

I finished watching the American Horror Story: Coven season. It was really good, although the quite happy ending was not my cup of tea. The first season is still my favourite. Now I'm anxiously waiting for the Game of Thrones season 4 and Vikings season 2. Meanwhile I'm keeping myself busy with Angel (oh, nostalgia...) and The Borgias.

In December I decided that I want to get back in a good shape. I'm very skinny, but it sucks when you don't have any muscles and when a few stairways leave you completely breathless. So I started to do workouts! It's weird, I know, because I used to hate exercising.

Anyway, I won a free trial in the heavy aerobics class and I kind of fell in love with it... It's basically a lot of jumping around, kicking and bouncing, a bit dance-y moves, crazy muscle workouts etc while you listen to rock and metal music. So it's kind of perfect for me. It's really motivating to train your abs while Rob Zombie is yelling: "Hey, I'm screaming! Scum of the earth! Come on!" You just can't give up.

Today began my second workout month and I feel great. I'm also trying to change my eating habits and switching to better food: more fruits, vegetables and water, less food & drinks with too much sugar, salt and weird ingredients etc. One moment I just got sick of all the crap that I was eating. But I'm not some Born-Again-Health-Nut, I swear. =P I still love being a couch potato and occasionally I pamper myself with hamburgers, take-away Chinese food, chocolate, wine and crisps.

***

I'm also going back to being a Occasional Party Smoker. One day I realized that I hadn't smoked for 11 days. I just suddenly stopped and had no cravings for a cigarette break or any withdrawal symptoms. It's quite strange, I just felt like not smoking. I think I was cigarette-free for like... Maybe 20 days. Yesterday I took some drags from BF's cigarette, just because I was drinking a good cup of Creamy Strawberry Latte (Estonians, seriously, that is so good!) from Coffee In and I felt like having cigarette.

***

What else... Oh yeah, Pharrell Williams' voice rocks and the song "Happy" is my absolute favourite right now. I haven't seen the Despicable Me films, but this song just makes me... Happy! I always listen to it, when I go outside and that is why people see me dancing in the tram... You just can't be grumpy when you listen to it. I hope that this song wins the Oscar for the Best Original Song.

I finally read "The Time Traveller's Wife". and was quite disappointed. I had very high hopes for it and I expected a completely different story. At first I liked it, but in the end all I got was a creepy and naked old guy stalking a young girl and claiming that they're married in the future, so she'd better become acquainted with him. Creepy, much? Nothing else really happened, nothing about the feelings of the one who gets left behind because of the time travelling. Just a woman who waits and waits, because her hubby won't let her go even after his death. Now I don't even want to watch the film, that I was putting on hold, so I could finish the book first.

***

I haven't taken any Important Photos lately. The weather is kind of icky and I'm concentrating more on my family, my health and home. I'm also watching a lot of series, films and read books. I don't feel like I have to constantly shoot out photos and any kind of art, so I'm not really worried. I'm testing my Russian lenses with a simple 30 Days in a Blog challenge that I started a long time ago and abandoned because I didn't feel motivated to carry on. Now I picked it up and try to finish it.

The point of this challenge is that you have to post pictures according to the theme or a question. For example, a habit you wish you didn't have, a picture of something you want to do, before you die and so on. I want to use as many photos as I can that are taken by me (or at least of me) and also taken specifically for this challenge. It motivates me to find a subject and take a photo at least once a week. I've also picked up blogging again in my secret blog and it's really nice to write again. (:

So yeah... I hope life is treating you good and the weather is not completely ugh! Spring is coming! Take care!
